Warm welcome!

I am certified Yoga teacher, Somatic Coach, Sex Educator, and Facilitator of Women's Circle and Sacred Rituals. But before any of the roles I get to play, I am a human being and passionate learner of life.

About Paula Pūrnā

- en Español pronto

Since I was a child I was drawn to knowledge and wanted to be a teacher, yet I didn't have the courage to follow my heart when the time of choosing a career came. So I did what it was expected of me - or so I thought - and spent 8 years studying dentistry. I ended up more confused than ever and at the edge of depression.

In my late twenties I left my homeland for what I thought it would be a sabbatical year, and little did I know it was the beginning of my quest for freedom and a new life altogether. A solo travel to Asia shifted something deep within - it showed me other ways of living life and inspired me to pursue my dreams.⁣⁣  ⁣⁣

I moved to Thailand and yoga came into my life. Though I loved the benefits of the physical practice, a desire to know more about what it really meant to live a life of yoga began to arise when later I met a dear teacher in Bali who always spoke so beautifully in between the āsanas. I thought to myself, "I want to know what she knows", and not long after that I had the blessing to meet my revered teacher Shāradā.

This was 5 years ago and since then I've been studying the ancient teachings of the Vedas directly under her guidance. Nothing has touched my heart as deeply, and from early on I started to weave into my own offerings what I was learning .

Besides Yoga and Vedic Wisdom I've also immersed myself in Women's Work, within a somatic, holistic and trauma-informed approach. The initial inspiration to understand my own sexuality and reclaim my power, evolved into a sincere desire in supporting women to do the same, and so I started to create and hold educational spaces for self-care, empowerment, and feminine embodiment. This path unfolded parallel to my spiritual journey, only to discover how inherently connected they are.

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending quality time with friends, family and myself. I am someone who cherishes the simplicity of life and finds beauty in the most unexpected of places. I love studying, listening to music, dancing, go for massage, road-tripping, cooking, and watching heartfelt movies... and a few series ;)

I am eternally grateful to Shāradā Devī, Chiara Ramella, Kāmadevī, Layla Martin, Marina Nabão, Cory Scott, and Isabela Bottura, whose teachings and guidance have shaped and inspired not only my work but my journey - which was one of no return.

I would be so honored to support you in yours.

About my teachers and lineage

Sharada 3.jpg
Shāradā Devī

Shāradā met her revered teacher Swāmī Vāgīśānandaji 16 years ago. She has a profound ability to meet her students exactly where they are at and of weaving the traditional teaching methodology with the needs of the modern world. Her gentle yet deep way of unfolding the words of Vedānta has touched me to the core. She is an ocean of love and living embodiment of all the values and wisdom she has integrated and now shares with her beloved students.

Swāmī Vāgīshānanda

Swāmīji is a senior disciple of Swāmī Dayānanda Saraswatī. He is a Sanyasi, a Vedānta Scholar and Vedic Chanting Master for the past 40 years. He participated in five 3,5 years residential courses with Swāmī Dayānandaji, and is an accomplished teacher of Vedānta in the traditional methodology. He lives as a monk, devoted to Hindu Dharma (universal values) and traditions.

Śrī Pujya Swāmī Dayānanda Saraswatī

Words fall short to describe our revered Guru Pujya Swāmīji. He completely revived the tradition of Vedānta and Hindu Dharma, and has impacted millions of peoples’ lives world wide. Impeccable logic, brilliant analysis, erudition, precise use of language, together with a child-like sense of humor, make him the greatest living master of Traditional Advaita Vedānta.

Words by my teacher Shāradā

"Paula Pūrnā Devī has been a devoted and committed student of Vedānta, Pūjā, Vedic Chanting, Meditation and the teachings of the Sacred Feminine under my guidance for the last 5 years, attending in person and online classes, retreats and trainings.

She has embraced the Vedic way of living, following a life of dharma, which means to be in sacred symbiosis with all living beings by following universal values, ritualizing one's life, becoming a contributor, and seeing life as an offering towards complete emotional growth. This is a committed and whole hearted pursuit that requires profound trust, consistency, and determination of which Pūrnā Devī has abundantly.

She is blessed by her lineage to pass on the priceless jewels of the Vedic Teachings with sincere spiritual seekers, for which I invoke the grace of Sarasvatī Devī to bless the continued study, assimilation and understanding of the timeless teachings that free our hearts from suffering and give freedom and absolute fullness here and now.

With madhu (sweetness), Shāradā"

A few more facts about me

IMG_9332.JPG

I was born in 1989 in Viña del Mar, Chile, and I also have German ancestral roots. I am the eldest of 4 human siblings and 7 furry fellows. Me and my family are very close and enjoy spending time together.

In March 2023 I had my nāmakāram ceremony where I received my Sanskrit name Pūrnā, given by my revered teacher. The name means "She who is fullness". You can have a peekaboo of that day here.

Living in asian lands for 7 years shaped my life in every possible way, and it is where my heart feels most at home - warm weather, luscious greens, cleansing waters, and smiley people.
